Doggie Radio Members' Chat Groups Code of Conduct
January 1, 2025
Welcome to the Doggie Radio community! We’re thrilled to have you here. Our chat groups are designed to be safe, fun, and welcoming spaces where pet lovers, professionals, and enthusiasts can come together to share, learn, and connect. To keep things running smoothly, we’ve established a few simple guidelines. Please take a moment to read through them and join us in fostering a positive and enjoyable environment for everyone.
1. Be Kind and Respectful
We’re all here because of our shared love for pets! Treat every member with kindness, respect, and understanding. Harassment, bullying, and discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. Think of it as being the human your dog thinks you are.
2. Keep It Positive and Constructive
Whether you’re sharing advice, asking questions, or contributing to a discussion, keep your comments positive and constructive. Disagreements are natural, but let’s keep the conversations friendly and solution-focused.
3. Stay On Topic
Each chat group has a purpose, whether it’s for pet owners, veterinarians, or professionals. Please keep discussions relevant to the group’s focus. Off-topic banter is fine in moderation but let’s not derail the conversation.
4. Share Responsibly
Feel free to share tips, stories, and experiences, but please avoid spreading misinformation or giving medical advice. And always fact-check before sharing!
5. No Promotions or Spam
We’re here for the community, not the commercials. Please refrain from posting unsolicited advertisements or spam. If you have a relevant resource or event, reach out to an admin for approval before sharing.
6. Protect Privacy
Respect the privacy of others. Avoid sharing personal or sensitive information about yourself or other members without consent. Remember, this is a public space.
7. Keep It Family-Friendly
This is a space for pet lovers of all ages. Please keep language clean and content appropriate for all members. If you wouldn’t say it in front of your dog, it’s probably best not to say it here either!
8. Report Issues
If you see behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, don’t engage—report it to a moderator or admin immediately. Let’s work together to maintain a safe and welcoming space.
Remember:
We’re here to celebrate our furry friends, share knowledge, and have a great time. Let’s build a community that reflects the joy, loyalty, and playfulness we all love about our pets. Thank you for being a part of Doggie Radio!
Paws Up and Happy Chatting!
